Dark Matter sculptures
The ‘Dark Matter’ sculpture series were built as a part of the ‘stage design’ for the performance Installation Project ‘Quantum Reality. In this series the dark matter is represented by the use of colour and movement effect. The use of a dark coloured garment against a dark installation and performance background elicits the contours of a human body shape, though remains ambiguous. The mystery regarding the undefined qualities of the human-like body relates to my interest in the gap between presence and non-existence, hidden dimensions of the universe and the ability to perceive them.
2016
This sculpture has been created as a model and an inspirational source for my large scale installations. The process of creating this untitled piece was similar to the process of drawing by using three dimensional pan-constructing lines from the paper up, throughout the space.
